For the past several weeks, we have been working on division in class. We are focusing on division as the opposite operation of multiplication and today did a quick division drill (example: 45 / 9 = ). Many of the students were quite confident as they have already mastered their multiplication facts. For those who need additional practice (in long division too), please visit http://www.math-drills.com to print out practice sheets. Happy dividing!
Students will be tested on quick division One-Digit Divisor and a Two-Digit Quotient Word problems including multiplication and division Bonus questions that will be optional for those who want a challenge: One-Digit Divisor and a Three-Digit Quotient

A quick update from Morah Mirit:
Reading test in French. Each student will be tested on pronunciation and comprehension of their part in our play on the following dates: The dates are: 4A: June 2nd 4B: June 1st 4C: June 1st 4D: June 1st This month our Yachad theme is "Caring for the Environment". The Grade 4s have been learning about environmental stewardship, sharing "green tips" with the school, and have even taken part in a beach cleanup. We are in the midst of preparing a school-wide assembly (taking place May 12th), and extra practice of the song, "Clean Up Our World" is strongly encouraged. Here are the lyrics below, though we are hoping to know the song by heart!
