For the past several weeks, we have been working on division in class. We are focusing on division as the opposite operation of multiplication and today did a quick division drill (example: 45 / 9 = ). Many of the students were quite confident as they have already mastered their multiplication facts. This month our Yachad theme is "Caring for the Environment". The Grade 4s have been learning about environmental stewardship, sharing "green tips" with the school, and have even taken part in a beach cleanup. We are in the midst of preparing a school-wide assembly (taking place May 12th), and extra practice of the song, "Clean Up Our World" is strongly encouraged.
